My Day

Hello!
Today I have had lots of fun! Here is a list of things I have been doing today:

• Jumping Rope
• Reading (The Bible and The Mixed Up Files of Mrs Basil E Frankweiler.. which we finished today..Moms been reading to us.. we finished it today!)
  
• Reading (Jane Erye-I am reading this)
• Went to Bible Bowl
• Played with SuLin
• Watched TV (Animal Planet, Science Channel, and Boomerang, Extreem Makeover Home Edition, and Americas Funniest Home Videos)
• Laid on the Hammock

I really had a lot of fun today chasing Su around the house. She would run away from me when I would chase her.. it was funny.

today at Bible Bowl we had a practice competition. It was really fun. We only did two rounds of 20. One the first round I got 12 out of 20 and I dont know what the score was on my second one. I think getting a 12 out of 20 is pretty good cause I haven't read that chapter in a long time. :) We got our t-shirts today that are pink. I liked the color but one of the boys didn't.

This week I am looking forward to going on a trip to Houston.

new puppy & more pics

I decided to post some pictures of our new puppy SuLin. SuLin is a Chinese name which means "a little bit of something very cute." I like SuLin because she is cute and fun to play with. Her favorite things to do are, chase me, growl and bark, run around in the backyard, play tug-o-war and sleep in my lap. She is really funny when she yawns and then growls right after it.
This week I have been playing with the puppy and opening Christmas presents, and riding in the car on our trips to my cousins house. I am looking forward to summer because I like it better when its warm and I really want to go swimming.

Riding Lesson

Here are some pictures of me at riding lessons. The horses name is Obie (OBee)... She was really sweet. I learned that you have squeeze the tendon to make thier hoof go up so you can clean the hoof, how to put the halter on, how to tie the horse to a pole, how brush it, how to put the saddle and saddle pad on, and lots of other stuff. I really liked it.

Store

Today we went to Lowes and Bed Bath and Beyond. We bought some flowers we are going to plant them later today.
We arent going to plant any fruit or vegetables this year except for tamatos. I got some bluebonnet seeds. Nate got some sunflowers and Joseph got some Chives. Have a good day!

The Seceret Garden and other Books

Taylor and I are reading The Secret Garden. My favorite was chapter 14, "The Mysterious Boy". It is a very fun book.
It is about a girl from India who's name is Mary. She found a secret garden that had been locked up for ten years. She was playing with a Robin when she found the key in the dirt. The wind blew some vines off the door that she didnt know were there and she unlocked it and went in.
You should try reading it. It is very easy.

Today tanner and trixy had a race to see who could drink tuna fish juice the fastest. And guess who won. Until my next post you can guess.

India

Today we finished the phantom tollbooth. We are studying ancient India so we made bracelet's that originated in India.

Here is some info about them

Raksha Bandhan is primarily a North Indian festival kindling the deepest emotions of love and affection amongst the siblings. Just like all Indian festivals, this is also celebrated with lots of verve.

The sister ties the rakhi on the brother's wrist and both pray for each others' well being followed by a pledge from the brother to take care of his sister under all circumstances. The brother then usually gifts something to the sister to mark the occasion.

the mile run and stuff

Today I ran one whole mile on the treadmill. I am practicing for a 5-k.
Trixy is learnig bow and heal. Trixy got a new leash and collar. Friday I spent the night at Ms house I went to bed at 10:30 and got up at 4:40 in the morning. Last night I got new shoes.
Tonight I am going to Ms house to get firewood.

Pictures and Stuff

Hello everyone!
Sorry I havent posted in a long time. All these pictures were taken with my new camera I got for Christmas. It is a sony cyber-shot. I like it because I can take pictures whenever I want, except for when the batteries are low. I like taking pictures because it is fun!
My favorite thing I did on Christmas vacation was getting to see my cousins. I got horse riding lessons for christmas also!

I am doing a six hour reading program to get six flag tickets. So far I have read an 2 hour and 20 mins. The books I have read so far are called: American Girls Short Stories; Kristen's Promise and Thanks to Josefina. My favorite one was "Thanks to Josefina" it was about a girl named Josefina who wove blankets. Josefina is a spanish name so the "j" is pronounced like an "h". So that means her name is pronounced as "ho-seh-FEE-nah".

This is me and Sydney. Sydney is my cousin. Jojo got us matching shirts for Christmas.
These are some balloons I put in a bottle. I had to put a straw in the bottle to blow up the balloon. PawPaw helped me with it. It was very very fun!
Tanner is very sleepy in this picture. He said "please leave me alone and turn that flash off" in cat language.
